Fundraising event
It's been almost a month since our benefit concert! Our "25 Years of Passion" event was a truly moving and memorable occasion. Thank you to everyone who celebrated this quarter-century of music and camaraderie with us, and to Bernard Derome for his dynamic and inspired hosting!
We also wish to highlight the exceptional work of our board of directors. Not only did they play a key role in the success of this evening, but their year-round commitment is essential to our mission. Their support and dedication allow us to continually strive for more and to share our music with passion and excellence!

On February 5th, the Veritas Foundation honored the winners of the 2024 Veritas 500 ranking of the fastest-growing charities in each of the 20 different charitable categories. Trio Hochelaga is the winner in the "Arts Education" category for 2025!

OSE Concerto
The Hochelaga Trio is delighted to present its upcoming Montreal series, celebrating the ensemble's 25th anniversary. To mark this occasion, the Trio has prepared three concerts highlighting important pillars of its history: French Music ; New Works , notably featuring composer Jacques Hétu, who dedicated a triple concerto to the Trio, as well as the work Triade , recently composed by the ensemble's cellist; and Romanticism , a movement central to the Trio's mission for the past 25 years.

Announcement of the 23-24 program
The Hochelaga Trio is extremely pleased to begin its Montreal season shortly with works by Rachmaninoff, Dubois, and Brahms. This first concert, in a series of three, will present a Romantic aesthetic with essential repertoire from the period. The next two concerts will explore contrasting aesthetics that coexisted and overlapped during the same era: Impressionism and Modernism. The season will close with a highly anticipated surprise from Dominique Beauséjour-Ostiguy, the trio's cellist. Don't miss it!

The lyricism, the sensitivity, the musicians' attentiveness to each other, their gaze, their respect in the performance, their love, and their delivery transport us elsewhere, into the immaterial, where beautiful and great music resides. What a talented artist Dantonio Pisano is… flexible, sensitive, musical, agile, expressive, lyrical. Dominique Beauséjour-Ostiguy, a passionate, daring cellist who fears nothing. His face delivers luminous expressions. A robust accomplice to his colleagues, in almost constant dialogue with them. Anne Robert transcends her art and her instrument. Honestly, I can't find the words to describe what I heard from her violin: virtuosity, lyricism, sensitivity, expressiveness, musicality, energy. A very high-level concert whose music still remains in our souls. »

Dominique supported by the Arts Council
